Sailor’s Ruin – Minecraft Airship Pirate Crew & 3D Models

Traversing the air and sky, this Minecraft Airship and its long dead Pirate Crew never learned the meaning of surrender. A Steampunk fleet, animated by aimless hate beyond every boundless horizon. Chased by the wrath of a ghastly skull tailing behind. Forever watching with giant crimson eyes.

Sailor’s Ruin, Where Minecraft Airships Fall

Packed to the brim with two decker lower decks and three above deck, these airships are more than ready for sizable crews of dastardly ghosts. Searching for their next plunder.

Pushed along by over two dozen sails and four engines, running on magical power to carry it over the skies without end, this ship is never coming down from the skies.

Decorative lights droop down from any raised area. Other spots illuminated by tiny bright windows peering out the ship. All present in a multitude of different colours, perfect for a mix of themes. Not all airships haunt the sky!

This airship itself is a standalone tier 2 build. Complete with decor above deck and interiors inside. Populate your skies with pirate brigades or a Steampunk cruise of your own over at my Patreon.

Hot Air Balloons are Airships too!

Technically, yes, yes they are…

That’s why I included them.

Technicalities.

That, and it just feels right.

Picture this:

Dozens of hot air balloons float in over the city, each stuffed with at least half a dozen pirates. Teeth gnashing and swords at the ready. Arrows strung back on their bows, letting loose fiery rain over the houses. Lighting a bonfire of tragic beauty beneath the incoming airship. Enormous, towering over every balloon around it. Steadily trailing along with hundreds of pirates on deck, hundreds more within, no doubt. Followed by the skull of the Pirate Lord itself.

We’re doomed.

Doesn’t that just work?

Hot air balloons are the minions to the airships. The padding that helps make the airships special. You can’t have a boss without someone to order!

These airships come in the same mix of colours, ready to slot right in with their liege. Perfect for the armada to sail to battle, to glory, and to their imminent doom.

These are a Tier 1 build. Detailed, decorative, and cosy. Complete with miniature interiors.

A Whole Minecraft Pirate Crew!

Hot air balloons are minions to airships… so where do the pirate crew rank?

Nevermind – hierarchies fall apart fast with inanimate objects, don’t they?

The skeletons and zombies aboard have all been remodelled and textured with care for details. Setting up a scene to scare any would be stowaways.

…please don’t jump on pirate ships.

Skeletal Pirates

First up in our spooky Minecraft pirate crew is the skeletons. Armed and ready with bows and arrows, bound to hit their mark.

Dressed up posh and regal with their precious purple trench coats and puffy white collars, capped off with neat little hats and excellent capes – if I do say so myself. These life drained remnants of evil are mossy spirits, guiding the way for their fellow recruits. Lantern at the ready and satchel strapped over their back, to run fast, hit hard and strike dead.

These are a Tier 2 model, complete with the full texture and working model in resource pack form. Safely animated to handle the different shapes.

Skeletal Zombies

Then we have our typical zombie crew member, axe in hand and skulls in vision.

No less posh with flowing capes trailing behind neatly done up jackets, golden sewn belts, and epaulettes on each shoulder… Now you just know that’s fancy. Epaulettes? They’re just trying to be special, aren’t they? They’re pirates!

With towering pirate hats of their own over creepy lifeless overgrown flesh and molten cores within, these are not foes you want to run into.

It isn’t just one, though. There’s a second variant, spawning rarely. Bearded and bushy browed, eyes twisted in anger. Not someone to get on the bad side of. It’s a miracle dead souls can still retain such messy hair.

These are also a Tier 2 model. Including the full texture and working model in resource pack form. The updated animations are tried and tested to be sure it fits in cosily enough.

Can I Download It All?

Yes! You could either download it all as individual parts with the right tier to claim your pirate glory, or wrap it all up including the presented build of Sailor’s Ruin itself as a personal Tier 3 request.
