Falshire's Grand Metropolis, Home of the Forest's Protectors

A thriving city was built under the world tree’s branches. Towering over the rising Minecraft Elven Kingdom; guardians of the forest, built up around the very centre of nature’s protection.

Falshire.

The Elven Metropolis.

Home of trade and luxury. Of living life until you’re old and gray, never a day in your life worried for your safety.

Safeguarded by a magical barrier that prevents passage in and out by any unwelcome, detecting intruders unsuited to this utopian city. Travellers still come and go, bringing toys, delicacies and technology from far away lands, or minerals from closer. A land of fantasy in harmony, peace ensured.

Elves, humans, dwarves, halflings and even orcs and tieflings, all safe within the wall-less city.

The City of Falshire, Helm of the Minecraft Elven Kingdom

Though not the entire county by itself, Falshire makes up the bulk of the Kingdom of Aluran. A magnificent pocket of settlements by the regal elves of the Southern lands of Usth.

Each building within the city is complete with pretty interiors, fully decorated. Flowers in nigh every room sprinkling colour into our day to day; one with nature.

Taverns and stores are commonplace here, with towers dotted between, focusing on protecting everyone’s happiness just as much as their safety.

The Forest’s Protectors

A large majority of the populace works with the city’s military. Rarely sent out on expeditions, instead directed up to the tree tops to collect fruits. Operating like farmers with wings and weapons. Given back to by the nature they respect.

Not a single tree was chopped down in the creation of the city. Constructed in the slight open break in an otherwise endless canopy of leafy green above. Using the natural opportunity to fit right in and stand by the old oak that gives life to the whole forest.

The city was then populated with tiny little trees. Planted in the surroundings of the great one.

What was this for?

The reason every part of this city was detailed was originally for a Dungeon’s and Dragon’s campaign I was running. Whether they were entering a tavern for a night’s rest, breaking into a store to fight a bandit in the strangest of ways, visiting the courthouse for their resulting trial, or going out shopping the next day to all the smithies and craftsmen, I wanted all bases to be covered.

The city needed to feel ‘alive’. Especially if a battle broke out, requiring it shifted to a battle map in an instant.

Other Ideas Exist Aplenty!

You could use this for a survival empire. Spawning in villagers and picking any particular house for yourself, or perhaps even the world tree itself as a humble abode.

Else, this could just be an interesting spawn for a server? Fly around dotting easter eggs worth hunting for and the main hall can be where they all spawn in. Those too curious to pass it up might wander the whole city.

Can I download it?

Yes! The entire map and each of its pieces are available for your perusal through my Patreon. Whether to use this enormous city as is for your own adventures, or create your own with a whole different layout.

Other fantasy builds are out there waiting for an inquisitive eye, such as my Dazzling Cyberpunk City, and Record-Setting Massive Dirt Mansion.

Or perhaps it’s detailed interiors that catch your eye. The Lonely Manor is packed with a grand expanse of rooms, built for roleplay purposes with hidden passages and set-up ready for people to go missing from the halls when you blink twice.
